Orange Pulp Punch

1 can of frozen orange juice concentrate (lots of pulp), thawed.
1 46 oz can of apricot nectar
1 2-litter bottle of Sprite
orange sherbet

In a punch bowl, combine the orange juice concentrate and the apricot nectar.  Slowly pour in the                             sprite.Float scoops of orange sherbet on top. 

(tip:  freeze orange gator-aid into ice cubes (the orange ice won't water down your punch as it melts), add to punch with sherbet)




Nuclear Waste

1 part Blue Curacao
1 part Absolute Mandarin
1 part  orange juice

In a punch bowl combine all 3.  Add orange gator-aid ice cubes.

(tip:  This punch looks great with dry ice (do not add dry ice directly to punch).   Take a large decorative bowl, add water and dry ice.  Set a smaller bowl, containing the Nuclear Waste, inside the large bowl.)



Spiced Hot Apple Cider

1 gallon of apple cider
10 cloves
10 cinnamon sticks
1/4 teaspoon orange rind
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
`750 ml of dark rum (optional)

In a large pot, combine the first 5 ingredients.  Set on medium heat and heat slowly, careful not to                                boil. Once hot, reduce heat and add rum.


(tip:  Do you have a metal tea ball laying around?  Use that to hold the cloves, that way guests won't swallow them.)



Jello Shooters

1 packet of orange flavored Jello (or any flavor)
3/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup Vodka

In a medium bowl, add water to the Jello and mix for 2 minutes.  Put the bowl in the freezer for 5-                                 10  minutes to cool down the mixture, but before the mixture sets or thickens.  Add Vodka and                                        pour  into ice cube trays. Allow to set over night.  To remove from trays, with a sharp knife, cut                                     around the cube, set the bottom of the tray in hot water for 10 seconds.  The shooters should slide                                 out  easily.

(tip:  Other flavors to try are, Tequila/Lime, Gin/Grape, Vodka/Raspberry, and Vodka/Lemon.)

Haunted Hoedown Drink Recipes


Lynchburg Lemon-aid Punch

1 part Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey
1 part triple sec
1 part sweet and sour mix
4 parts Sprite® soda

Mix ingredients into a punch bowl.



Country and Western Cocktail

1 1/4 oz dark rum
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1 oz coconut cream

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice.  Shake and strain into a glass.



Country Apple Shot

1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
1 splash sweet and sour mix

Combine and chill all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Pour into a shot glass, and serve.




Barn Burner Shot

1/3 oz Mohawk® Extra Sharp ginger brandy
1/3 oz cinnamon schnapps
1/3 oz Tabasco® sauce

Mix ingredients together in a shot glass, and serve

Saints and Sinners Drink Recipes


Flaming Hell Shot

1/2 ounce of grenadine
1/2 ounce of Disironno almond liquors
1/2 ounce of 151 proof rum

Layer these into a shoot glass with the 151 on top.  Light just before serving.  Blow out and take the
shot.

(tip: serving this in a darkly lit room makes the blue flame really start out.)




Hell's Sunset Shot

1/3 ounce of Orange Juice
1/3 ounce of After Shock, or any cinnamon liquor
1/3 ounce of 151 proof rum

Layer into a shot glass and serve.



Angel's Kiss Shot

1/4 ounce of Creme de Cacao
1/4 ounce of Sloe Gin
1/4 ounce of Brandy
1/4 ounce of 1/2 and 1/2

Layer into a shot glass and serve.



Irish Monk Shot

1/3 ounce of Bailey's
1/3 ounce of hazelnut liquor
1/3  ounce of Brandy

Layer into a shot glass and serve.
